Ok we all know what Mike did and he paid his debt to society. After serving 18 months in federal prison, Vick was released this summer. Some thought that his career was over. By the time you get to this I'm sure you will have already heard the news. Today Vick inked a 2 year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. I'm not sure what his role will be but I'm sure he's out to prove something. Good luck Mike!!!! Here he is in his early days getting busy in the 17s before his own deal with Nike.

Keepin Ya Kicks Fresh!!!

Now we all know you could go to Foot Locker or Foot Action or wherever and buy some sneaker cleaner and keep your kicks fresh. But if you're too lazy or you just don't feel like sparing the change, I got you!!! You don't need much. Just look around the house. Get some type of soap product(dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc.). Make sure you have HOT water(preferably boiling[stove]) in a bucket. Get an old rag or t-shirt, and a toothbrush. You mix the hot water with your soap product and make sure you see those bubbles, ya dig!!! Dip your toothbrush in your homemade solution and practice that circular motion on those soiled spots. When you feel that the dirt is gone, wipe your sneaker down with the towel. Make sure you tuck those laces though, you don't want soggy strings and people calling you a poo-put!! By now you should have a clean pair of kicks!!! NEVER EVER USE BLEACH ON YOUR KICKS!!!!! YOUR SHOES WILL TURN YELLOW AND FALL APART!!!

Uh oh, here we go!!! The Air Jordan IV is a personal favorite. I call this my birth shoe. This shoe cam out the same month as well as the same year i was born. I believe it was meant for me to love this particular pair. The IVs were released in 1989 and were the first Jordan shoe to go global. It was an international best seller. They were feature in Spike Lee's(Mars Blackmon!!!) "Do the Right Thing". When they were retroed 10 years later in '99, they flew off racks in a matter of hours!!!

This is where it gets serious!!!! The first pair to display the ever popular Jumpman. It was also the first pair to come with the air bubble on the heel. The IIIs also came with the debut of Mars Blackmon (depicted by Spike Lee). The commercials and ads started to give the Jordan brand that flare. This is when the line really started to pop!!! The marketing campaign was known as "Mars and Mike". Another first was the NIKE AIR logo on the back. Mike wore these kicks when he won the 88 Dunk contest. Some say that this is THE BEST SNEAKER OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!! Get Crazy!!!

This is the second installment of the Air Jordan series. The original releases were produced in Italy and were inspired by an Italian woman's boot. This was also the first Nike produced shoe that did NOT feature the patented Nike Swoosh. Instead, there was a set of wings with Air Jordan on the tongue and the word Nike on the heel. They were introduced during the 87-88 season. Mike rocked the 1s for two seasons.

The first installment of the Air Jordan series appeared in 1985 with the red and black colorway. The multi colored sneaker was very controversial and MJ was fine $10,000 dollars for every game he wore that particular color. The first Air Jordan retailed at $65!!! Mike inked a deal with Nike for $2.5 million, and began a dynasty.

This particular shoe is a certified classic for the simple fact that is started it all!!!!!!!!!!!! Since its first release there has been many Retro re-releases of the sneaker. All incliding high tops, mid tops and low tops, all in different flavors!!!!!

This classic is definatly a collectors item if you are a shoe fanatic!!!!!!
